Intended Use
For professional in vitro diagnostic use only.
Clinical Significance
AMG has different biological functions: proteinase (endopeptidases) inhibition, transportation of enzymes and hormones and some immunological functions as inhibition of lymphoblastic transformation in pregnancy which has its significance in fetomaternal relationships. Increased levels are reported in nephrotic syndrome, pregnancy, liver diseases, diabetes mellitus, inflammatory diseases, bronchopneumonia, congenital cardiac disease. Decreased levels are reported in fibrinolysis, acute pancreatitis, biliary or renal stones, liver tumours, gastroduodenal ulcers, myocardial infarction.
Test Principle
Measurement of antigen-antibody reaction by the end-point method.
Stability & Storage
The reagents are stable until expiry date when kept at 2-8°C. Stability in the instrument is at least 4 weeks if contamination is avoided. Do not freeze.
